Ohh I am looking for something like this, I am going to my docs on Tue and will ask then. Maybe someone else has more info.

What area is she in? Maybe just something thats done in that area?

I'm not sure if I should say the name of it or not but if it's the one I'm thinking of, it's dangerous in the long run. You will definately loose the weight but put it all back on plus more when you eat properly again.

Girls .. I think it might be the Cambridge Diet .. I did it and lost 4 stone in 3 months and have maintained now for the past 3 months ... is that it?

jenk1 · 22/06/2007 08:42

the lady thats doing it says she goes into ketosis on it, its definately a meal replacement one.

It's possibly Lipotrim which you do via either a GPs surgery or certain chemists. Same idea as Cambridge/Lighter Life but obviously the counselling/support is different. Still costs though.
BTW all the meal replacement programmes have gradual re-introduction to food which is THE most important part of it all - same as with WW and SW - if you eat what you ate before, you'll be the size you were before. There's nothign inherently different about losing weight with meal replacement, apart form it being quicker - it's still the same weight.

I did Lipotrim for 7months and lost 41/2 stone, hard to stick to at first but when you have been on it a while you stop feeling hungry.[promise]
i am one of the silly ones and have put ALL my weight plus more on.i know lots of people that have done meal replacement diets and have kept the weight off,you need LOTS of will power and Must follow eating plan when you get to your ideal weight.I DID NOT DO THIS, THAT WAS AND STILL IS MY DOWN FALL
