Please help settle an argument I am having with my friend. She thinks when on a diet plain water = still water, she says that I shouldn’t been drinking sparkling.
I know there’s no difference, water that is carbonated is still water, but she is making me doubt myself....!

There was a study done that showed sparkling water or other carbonated drinks make you feel hungry sooner than still drinks - is that maybe she means maybe?

People who have gastric bands, bypasses and sleeves aren't supposed to drink fizzy anything as they stretch their stomach, pouch, sleeve. Maybe she is confused with that?
