Cambridge Weight Plan - day 4

ChickenDinnerChecky · 07/10/2018 09:39

Am on step 2 after years and years of being overweight. Am pretty determined to do it!

But I feel shaky and light headed, anyone know when this will go? Also I am finding some of the products really sweet.

I wondered if there was anyone else on this plan to join me.

I just wondered how you are getting on? I am considering doing Cambridge too but worried about not liking the meal replacements as the one I tried was disgusting!

Ps well done for getting to day 4 and doing something positive for yourself x

Well done for doing it - it wasn't for me as it made me sick 🤢

I am hoping to do Cambridge again in a couple of weeks. I did well on it before and had to stop due to pregnancy.

I like having shakes for breakfast and lunch and then a savoury meal pack for dinner.

I find their products way nicer than others such as Lighterlife and Exante.

I found probably the first five or six days the worst, after that I became very used to it.

Hi, sorry I thought no one had replied. Grin

I’m going to get weighed tomorrow so fingers crossed I’ll have lost a decent amount. The meals are pretty disgusting summer, all so sweet. I can handle the bars and the milkshakes in a carton so might try a soup next.
They make me feel pretty sick too purple I miss not sure how long I will do it for. I might use it as a kick starter rather than a long term thing.
When might you start Ali?

Well done! I did the Cambridge diet a few years ago - lost 2 1/2 stone in about 10 weeks, but didn't keep the weight off. 2 years later, and I'm now on Exante (similar diet but no meetings, just buy the products directly from their website). It therefore works out cheaper than Cambridge. I love the flavours and variety of products. Lost 1st in 2 weeks now. Good luck x

Thanks! What do you think caused you to put the weight back on if you don’t mind me asking? I am very keen not to do that myself!

I'm back on CWP, day 6 today. I did it a few years back and lost 3 stone easily. Put it back on of course

It's great for the quick fix. The weight goes back on the same as it would when you come off any diet and begin filling your face again. Ugh - the maintaining is harder than the losing

I am on sole source 1B I think. Have between 3 - 4 products a day. Shakes and bars. It's just so bloody boring

ChickenDinnerChecky · 13/10/2018 07:06

Haha I know bat I had a major wobble yesterday where I just wanted to drink wine and eat hula hoops. Had to have a stern word with myself!

I bought more products than I neede dlast time so I have a choice this week which is working better for me.
Is there maintaining plan with this, I haven’t got that far with my consultant yet but presume there is?
