Baby puree food storage pots to help my weight loss?

Hi I am using little plastic containers which I bought for my babies pureed food as pots to measure my food portions as I am desperate to lose weight ! I bought some from B & Q and I've just seen them on Ebay - has anyone bought them? Are they any good? I saw them under feeding Kits? Plastic containers. They are half the cost, are they worth paying for ... anyone ?

They are £9 for 18 - that's 50p a pot - if I use 3 per meal - one for carbs - one for veg and 1 for protein - thats two days worth of meal planing right there - or am I being silly? Has anyone tried this to reduce calories/ volume

Why don’t you just invest in digital scales I only weigh protein, carbs and fats I eat as much veggies as I like. Log this into mfp and it’ll soon tell you if your eating too much.

I just use those plastic measuring cups you can buy - the 1/2 cup for oats, 1/4 for lentils etc etc - you could also look at something like this www.amazon.co.uk/Rosemary-Conley-Portion-Pots%C2%AE/dp/B07CN36SL5?tag=mumsnetforum-21 or this www.amazon.co.uk/PIECE-PORTION-CONTROL-CONTAINER-SET/dp/B01FFMYQK2?tag=mumsnetforum-21
