If you're dieting but not weighing yourself, what are your top signs you're losing weight?

I started about a month ago after coming back from a holiday ad being devastated I was the most obese person I saw the whole trip, and the scary realisation my weight hindered my entire trip. All holiday I refrained from doing things for fear of not being able to do the walk, not being able to do up my belt, not being able to fit a bouyancy aid, etc....

When I came back, I just decided to stick to solid eating principles and have been going great so far - no slip-ups and no feelings of "ah fuck it." I'm not weighing myself but have definitely lost a decent amount.

  • I can see in the mirror - still a long way to go, but....it's happening!
  • My thighs don't collide horribly when I walk.
  • Wiping my arse is noticeably more doable (sorry - it really had reached this stage, I am BIG)
  • I can run upstairs for a wee, run back down and sit own without panting like I'm going to pass out.
  • I have more get up and go generally. If I think about doing something, I do it instead of finding reasons not to.

How about anyone else?

Oh well done!

Mine is that I am stretched more on one side from my large baby (now a teen) and when I lose a bit it doesn't muffin top as much over my jeans. StarBlush
