Exante...

After a lifetime of slating 'shake diets' I have through sheer desperation started an Exante plan. I have tried everything but the weight just keeps piling on. I'm now 13 stone (5'4") and my BMI is 31. I feel crap and need to shift this weight.

Anyone else doing it? I started yesterday, doing the 'man plan'

I was waiting for my delivery yesterday so had a banana in the morning, then had the butternut squash soup pack, and the banana shake for tea. I also did a 75 minute walk.

Today I had the lemon pancakes for breakfast, thai chicken soup for lunch (added coriander, chilli and lots of s&p!) and the double choc bar for a snack. I had a pork chop with cabbage, mushrooms and wholegrain mustard as my 200kcal meal. Also another 75 minute walk.

I've been considering this too Ginger. Just as a short term thing to try and get rid of a few pounds. I have an illness which makes it difficult to do any exercise, plus am menopausal so have put on a load of weight over the last year or so.
How are you finding it so far?

GingerOClock · 16/09/2018 18:53

I'm finding everything a bit too sweet if I'm honest - the choc bar made my teeth tingle! I followed advice and add lots of ice to the shake and that has helped

PetuliaBlavatsky - It's better than I thought, but I have been hungry today. I'm told that passes though. I'm a proper foodie (hence the 13 stone!) so I am expecting this to be hard. However, the options such as pancakes, bars, etc make it easier that just doing shakes I think.

I got two weeks worth for £35 - intend on doing it 5:2 when I'm done as I don't think this is sustainable for more than 2 weeks for me, but I may be proved wrong!

I have a months worth of total solution but thinking of buying some meals and bars as I have tried a few times to just do the shakes and I turn into an evil cow on day 2 so think it’s not for me. I need a gentler approach me thinks.

I’m in! Started today one shake and one bar in I’m feeling ok but I know I’ll struggle in the evening. I’m determined to stick to this until Christmas Eve (with the odd day or night off)
