Any tips for maintaining after weight loss?

I've lost a stone since the start of August (didn't have much to lose but I'm short so my margins of error are very small!) through a tedious but effective method of MFP and exercise. Today I hit my target and don't want to lose any more but don't want to put it straight back on either!

I've always found maintenance harder than losing - obviously if I go back to eating what I fancy I'll put it back on. Any tips for maintaining long term? I'm guessing I still need to add everything in MFP but maybe gradually up my calorie count.

I would up your calorie count by no more than 200 at first, and avoid sugary calories for the additional 200. Stick to protein based additions. See how that goes for a while.

Congratulations on your weight loss! I have maintained for a while now, just graudually increasing my calories by 100 each week and keeping an eye on my weight until I hit a spot where I maintained.

Try on clothes that fit every week. If they're too tight, cut back.

Try to prep as much as you can is what works for me. If I know I have chopped veg in the freezer that'll take 10 mins to whip up a homemade dinner instead of getting a takeaway then I'm happy.

Same with lunches and breakfast. I know if I have homemade soup and stuff in for sandwiches I'm not gonna eat a big chicken fillet roll or similar.

It's all about preparation for me. Pigging out every once in a while
