Strip fat rather than weight?

I’m nearly at the weight I want to be, 136 pounds, 5 foot 6. BMI of 22 I’ve been following MFP, shredding and running (slowly) but I still have a serious muffin top and pot belly. What’s the best way to lose excess fat without my weight going to low?

The main way people achieve a lean (not scrawny) look is to bulk up a bit while weight training, then cut calories while still trying to lift as heavy as possible. However, there is always a part of your body that us the very last to lose fat.

I’m afraid I don’t have the answer OP but would be very interested in your replies. I am a healthy BMI. I want to lose my muffin top and my pot belly is terribly but don’t want to lose my boobs, bum or hips which are actually all looking a bit better for the extra few pounds I am carrying at the moment.

Weight training sounds good but I would need to join a gym.

Like you I'd be interested to know how this can be achieved. I've been going to the gym regularly now for several months. Healthy BMI, lost fat from everywhere but stomach. I do 4 cardio sessions a week of about 45 mins per session and 2 weights sessions per week.
