Not at all, I've yoyo'ed up and down all my life. This time I saeem to be doing a little better, maybe as I'm getting married in august. There is nothing like the thought of everyone commenting on you. The big test will be after that. Hopefully I won't slip back into old habits

hippipotami · 07/06/2007 15:12

This happens to me all the time! I have come to the conclusion I am meant to be naturally big. Am currently trying to lose weight, but in the long run I have to accept I will never be slim.

bummer · 07/06/2007 19:05

Same here, never be slim and always putting on more than I manage to loose every time

ktmoomoo · 07/06/2007 19:07

i need to loose over 5 stone and have just been to doctors and she has put me on xenical

fattime · 07/06/2007 19:10

a friend of mine was on xenical but as soon as she came off she put all the weight back on so I decided to keep trying by myself but am getting nowhere fast.

Mum07 · 07/06/2007 19:10

Have you tried Weightwatchers on-line? I lost 4 stone doing that, it took time but it pretty much stayed off and now I'm trying to lose another 1.5 and I'm well on my way

misdee · 07/06/2007 19:12

i kept losing the same stone over and over.

i am now doing cambridge diet, have lost 2stone, and intend to cartry on for the next 4 stone.

ktmoomoo · 07/06/2007 19:18

i only started xenical today , i have no will power

fattime · 07/06/2007 19:30

mum07 where did you get the willpower from?

Mum07 · 07/06/2007 19:33

Some digital scales i placed outside the kitchen! I weighed myself every single day (after a poo and naked, natch!)

ktmoomoo · 07/06/2007 19:36

wat natch mean

Mum07 · 07/06/2007 19:43

Naturally!

Mum07 · 07/06/2007 19:44

Seriously though, Weightwatchers really works because it's all about portion control and reducing saturated fats and not about eating completely differently to how you usually do, it also makes you look at your habits so there are things you change (hopefully) permanently.
