I've tried on my own and I need something to follow for a healthy eater undone by her sweet tooth. And would anyone like to join me on a lose 10lbs for the beach thingy?

Hi there, I can highly recommend Jason Vales 7Ibs in 7 days....it really works and there is plenty of tips in there for the fortnight after and for life.
It's not just about the food it's also about movement,etc...!
I have loads of his Books and love them all, really!

But 3andnomore, don't you feel totally knackered on a juice fast, do you eat solids, will I be able to function?

I don't drink much. One glass a night (except last night, ooh my head). So I don t think that would do it. I eat really really healthily and I exercise hard three times a week at least and walk everywhere. I can t understand why I m putting on weight. It must be inevitable middleaged spread. Does this exist or is it excuse for lardiness?

This is my diet, when I need to lose a bit of weight.

Something low GI in the morning, porridge or natural muesli (not toasted)
then some low fat crackers mid-morn.
A big fruit salad with yogurt or a big tuna salad with corn, beetroot, tomatoes, dollop of low fat mayo, anything salady. Or ham instead of tuna, oh and a boiled egg mixed in too - that make it a bit more hearty! Or sushi if I am feeling unmotivated - easy to make if you can be bothered searching for the ingredients.

In the arvo a hot chocolate for something sweet or some dried apples or other dried fruit.

dinner stir fry chicken or fish with lots of veges in a bit of soy and chilli sauce, and if you are hungry a little portion of noodles or rice.

Usually have another hot chocolate after tea.
And also try and eat dinner early, at least 3 hrs before bed.
Breakfast like a king and dinner like a pauper!!

I must admit, that day 2 of the Juice Detox was tough, but other then that I found it relatively easy...however, I had already been in a routine where I had Juice for Breakfast already and most of the time for Lunch, so, I suppose for me it wasn't such a big step!
But even if it would have been tough , I would have done it, as it was only 1 week
Saying that, I will do that Detox once every 3 month, just to clear my system of all the shite.
TBH after a few days I felt completely energised.
