How do you know you are full?

Serious question -I actually don't think I have an off switch

I know the advice is to stop eating when you are full but that only seems to register about 10 minutes after I've finished eating

Can I reset myself?

You shouldn't aim to be full, just satisfied. Eat more slowly, chew everything properly. As soon as you're not actively hungry then stop.

Not sure about actively hungry either -I go from peckish to full

Was very much brought up to eat to the clock and my job is very rigid so often have my lunch a long time before I actually want it

I don't really and that was the reason I was overweight. I've learnt what a portion size is and that's what I eat; sometimes I feel full, sometimes still a little hungry — but I stop there.

It's the only way I can mange my weight and isn't anywhere as near as sad and depressing as trying to tie your shoelaces up when you're carrying six stones of excess baggage Blush
