I know, i know that the best wway to loose wieght is to eat a healthy balanced diet and to excersise.

I am the sort of person that needs a tailored 'plan'.

Have any of you followed an online plan or anything like that i.e tesco's e diets, weight watchers, sliming world ect?

If so please give me feedback on if it was easy to follow or if you had any sucsess.

Please!

Or if there are any experst out there who want to help me draw up a plan with a routine and recipies ect then i am most willing to 'emoly' your services!

I did ww after dd3 - it was good, I lost a stone

could really do with going back on it to lose the last half (which Ithought I would manage alone )

I started WW in Oct 06 have lost 4 stone..gone from size 22 post baby to 14.. Pre baby was size 12... It definatley works, My whole eating plan has changed for the better.. I'm not an unhealthy eater anyway but WW has helped me to focus. I also stay for the meetings.

Our 'local' meeting is far away and i have no babysitter or transoport. The online one is quite expensive.

I know that if i had a strict plan i could follow it, i can be firm with myself when i have to be it's just getting it started.

Yeah FF is right.. What clubs do you have in the area? If you really want to loose weight you will do it what ever plan you are on. I have done R Connelly, cut down on carbs, aitkins, I have just found WW the best for me. Don't know if i'd have done so well online tho?

REIDmylips · 04/06/2007 19:28

i am currently doing ww too, i recommend it! although if you like to eat then slimming world is better, you can eat more on that than ww!

I lost 2st 3lb with slimming world. Once I got my head around what I could eat freely and what I had to be careful of it's been relatively easy. The food is the easy part, the willpower is the hard part and for that I found going each week to be weighed and staying for the group was helpful.

DH and a few other people I know have done the 'Usana' reset programme. They don't promote it as a weight loss/diet programme but as a lifestlye change. The theory being that psychologically we all plan to 'finish' a diet at some stage. He's lost 4 stone so far this year. He was overweight (he's still got another stone to go), had high blood pressure, cholesterol and borderline diabetic. 3 months into the programme, everything was normal and no meed for the drugs he was facing. Very tailored, comes with exercise, eating plans and on line instructions etc if needed. I loved the outcome so much I am now a distributor. I also lost 3/4 stone as a by product of helping him along. If you want information about how it works email me..

Why don't you go to WH Smith or local supermarket where you can loiter and read mags before buying. All of the weight loss mags have a 'lose x amount in x amount of time' strap lines, flick through, see which one fits in with you eating habits. Worth a try.
