After 18 months of depression a switch has finally flipped. 18 months ago I was a 10 stone, and a size 10. I used to care about what I ate, I would put effort into my meals and really enjoyed healthy eating.

Fast forward to now and today I weighed 13 stone Shock ...I'm devastated beyond words.

I have a big event middle of December and I am determined to have lost this god awful weight (and the depression) by then. No cheating, no excuses and no compromises.

I am armed with a kettle bell, which I need to learn how to use, and I have dogs that need walking everyday so a bit of exercise will be thrown in.

Anybody else looking to lose a good chunk of weight before xmas? Feel free to join me Smile

Well that is day 1 over. I am trying to do 16/8 so I had a Chilli pack at 12pm, a bar at 3pm and a pot meal at 6pm. I had a latte with unsweetened almond milk with my bar and I added some veg to the Dahl which was lovely.

What are everyone favourite packs? I thought the Choc Caramel bar was good, especially with a coffee.

Hi all, can I join in please? I need to lose 2stone in 12 weeks so I can proceed with fertility treatment! Feeling a bit nervous and have never lost weight that quickly before. I am doing exante with a mixture of bars and shakes - I wasn't sure about doing 16/8 with a vlcd, but think I will give it a go! So far I've tried the chocolate shake (urgh), vanilla shake (ok) and chocolate caramel bars (yum!).

How are we all doing?

I am getting into the swing of it. Much easier now the new school term has started. Weekends are more challenging.

Hi. I've been a serial weight watcher for years and dabbled with slimming world too. I'm currently 5'6 and 14 stone Confused

Been thinking that after my birthday in a couple of weeks I am going to give myself a crash couple of weeks on replacement drinks to kick start my weight loss. I've been looking at slim fast and celebrity slim. Anyone tried these? Which would you say is better or are they basically same thing

I know that weight loss is eat less move more but my thinking is if I take food generally out of the equation for a week or two it will give me one less thing to worry about and the motivation to eat better when I do go back to eating

Hi I know your message was from 2018 but just wondered if you managed to keep the 3 stone loss off?
