Just that really. If you have managed to stop emotional eating could you please share how you did it?

It’s my issue. I highly recommend Brain over binge by Kathryn Hansen. She’s a recovered bulimic who basically did the research herself to stop the binge/purge cycle when years of therapy were unsuccessful. I don’t purge but I binge. The book is very helpful.

Some people think it's rubbish, but Paul Mckenna's I can make you thin system worked absolute wonders for me. It re-evaluates your relationship to food, and makes you really think about why you're eating and forces you to slow down and become present. He emphasises that if you slip up one day, just forget about it, and continue.
