Pmt - I get incredible cravings, its getting worse past the big 40. I can spend two three weeks being fairly moderate and sensible then my mood flattens and I self medicate with sugar. I’ve tried the complex card eating every few hours but it doesn’t work in the same way. This month has probably been my worst month ever, I, gulp, think it will take a few months to get back track which disheartening after so much work. How do you all cope with pmt?

Can you go cold turkey? Have stuff to watch on tv, unputdownable books,go to the cinema, go to the theatre, anything as a distraction.

Go low carb (I,e. Low sugar) the rest of the time and see if you just maintain it when you have PMT - a square of very dark choc as a treat, but you can’t have loads of that!

a square of very dark choc as a treat, but you can’t have loads of that! I have no problem putting away 100g of 90% Grin love the stuff.

I agree OP, might have to be cold turkey! So hard though, I’m the same round my period.
