I have recently started dieting and exercising in an attempt to lose around 2 stone.
I started wearing my pedometer to see where I was at step-wise before starting to add in extra walks and exercise. It was an eye opener for me. I didn't realise just how lazy I was! I took only around 3,500 steps a day.
Since beginning to increase my physical activity, I manage 10,000 steps most days. Yesterday I achieved a record high (for me) of 24,000 steps! My legs are aching today though.
What is your average number of steps per day? And what is the highest number you have managed in a day?
