Hi all,

Spinning 3/4 times a weeks.

1,500 calories a day.

Will I lose a stone by September?

It depends on what your total calorie usage is. Calorie usage is dependant on your size and how active you are.

If you use more calories than you consume, you will lose weight.

If you do spinning class 3/4 times a week and are inactive for the other 23 hours - probably not.

Losing weight is primarily down to diet rather than exercise.

Do I need to lower the calories even more then?

If I go by my fitness pal it says 1 pound a week.

I’m active in the day in the sense I’m running around after a baby

What is your current weight and height?

Is your daily life active, moderately active, inactive?

Do you, for example, walk around for a few hundred steps every hour of the daytime, or do you spend your days sitting?

What is your diet like?

xamyrose · 23/06/2018 19:13

I’m about 5,4 and weight 9 stone 12

I would say I’m moderately active.

I don’t spend too much time sitting and do lots of walking

Diet isn’t great (mainly pick at what DD is eating and have too many Costa’s) But I’m changing this to a healthy breakfast lunch and dinner with good snacks and making sure it’s under 1,500

I reckon you should lose weight in that case.

I would say yes as long as you are making good food choices. Whole foods & avoid sugar or refined carbs. If you do that plus your exercising I’m sure you lose more but also lose inches.
