And ruins everything!!
I had a bit of a binge last night and I'm trying to be good but I just want to fall head first into pasta, cake, biscuits and chocolate 😣

Same with me every single month until I gave up sugar and now I manage to avoid bingeing on it although it's still very hard. I used to feel like it was one step forward and then two back with my dieting as my totm comfort eating always ruined my hard work.

I give myself ONE 'free' day a month when my period comes, and I eat what I want. Then next day, diet starts again. It works quite well and I don't fall into the despair of 'oh, I might as well keep on until end of week, I've ruined it anyway' cycle of despair blah blah blah I normally put myself through....

I am exactly the same, too! I could swear, as soon as I get going into losing weight the free-for-all-eatery starts, grrr, so annoying, but, to be fair, it is good to know I am not alone. :)

James smith PT online has good info about this. He suggests upping your calories a bit each day during this time so you will be less likely to binge. Works well.

Thanks for explaining/excusing why I pigged out last night!

I'm the exact same but instead of bingeing like usual and gaining a whole dress size I have only had small bit of sweet things it was hard but worth it now periods away I've had a big loss plus been walking Alot more has really helped for the first time in ages I was so happy standing on the scales after my period had gone.
