morning,

Just wanted to introduce myself

I have PCOS and gained so much weight after having my daughter in January. I'm only 5ft2 and weigh 15st7. I never got my period back after having her so went to the drs, had a scan etc and they confirmed I have PCOS, they said there is no cure, but weight loss will help.

so I started a diet and exercise thing on Monday after finally deciding to make a change to my lifestyle. if I continue the way I am I will end up with loads more health conditions, I need to change for my kids.

I don't have any spare cash right now so have been looking for free stuff I can use to help me stay on this and keep motivated.

I cant afford ww or sw or anything like that so I joined My Fitness pal to log all my calories and make sure I weigh all my food etc. Its free so good for me. I'm sticking to 1500 calories and not eating my exercise calories.
My husband bought me one of those fitbits too so I can see how I'm doing during a work out.

I also joined "weekly weigh in for uk ladies" group on Facebook for accountability and support.

I've only been doing this for 5 days now and lost 5lb, I know most of that is probably water weight but I am really pleased with that.

I thought it would be good to start using this board too.

just wanted to say hi to others in a similar situation to me :)
