Just wondered if anyone is using mfp to lose weight?

I started 4 days ago and so far finding it really easy, I've tried so many diets over the years including slimming world, weight watchers, Rosemary Conley, lighter life and Cambridge but am sick of paying someone else to weigh me so am sticking £10 a week in a jar to spend when I've lost 4 stone.

I've joined a Facebook support group too and it seems lots of people are getting great results.

I'm using it! I like it, but I must say I don't find it easy! I'm so hungry all the time! And found out that my DH gets 1600 calories vs my 1200 and he's an inch if that taller than me!

I like that I can plan the day out and then stick to it. I like to follow 'rules' and so it works for me.

How long have you been using it?

I'm probably in the honeymoon period and will be cranky in a week plus it's nice weather so I've been happy to have salads.

I presume your husband gets more calories because he's a man, very unfair!

This time, just a couple of days. I also used it a while back to lose a stone after having babies. It worked well and didn't take too long. Although I do remember being grumpy and hungry then too!

I’ve had good results previously and have just lost 16lbs in 7 weeks on MFP.

Yes, I'm using it in conjunction with something else. I eat about 1800 calories though and watch my macros to make sure I have loads of protein so I'm not hungry at all. I've lost about 4lb in 3 weeks.

Hey, I've just started using it. I'm finding it really easy, I've got it set to only 1lb a week so am allowed 1400 calories. I'm kind of amazed how much can be eaten for that tbh. I think being on SW for 4 weeks prior has helped as I'd already started cutting down all the snacks. I'm pretty much only going to SW for weigh in now (paid for a course) as I find the plan unhealthy, I'm eating much more balanced with MFP being able to track nutrition.
