I went to weigh myself today for the first time in a long time, i knew i'd put weight on since having my ds (2yo) but didnt realise how much. 2stone! I am now 12 stone Sad id be happy just to lose a stone. I know how to lose weight but dont have the will power to do it. Seeing the number in the scales will hopefully give me the kick up the a** i need. Im 5.4 so i appear a lot larger than i am. I know i have to cut down (loads) but just wanted peoples opinions on Best and easiest diets to stick to please?

16:8. Have your first meal after 10am and last before 6pm and try to avoid starchy food.

Thanks @nina19877 I did become a bit obsessed with how many points things were worth, but it was do-able. I ate a lot more fruit to fill me up and switched lattes (and they'd been skinny ones) for Americanos. Soups were also my friends over winter!

Can i ask how long it took you to lose the weight? I have a christening in just under 6 weeks and would love to lose a stone by then.

I think I lost about 3/4 of a stone in the first couple of months. But I wasn't being strict about every single meal.
