Hello,

Can someone give me some snack ideas, I’ve a bananas and apples grinning at my from the fruit bowl, doing my best to avoid eye contact!

Had a massive bowl of roasted veg and feta for lunch which was yummy. I’ve had a chicken thigh as a snack but I’m still starving!

Any ideas...

Thank you!

Satiety is a term used to explain the feeling of fullness and loss of appetite that happens after eating. A scale called the satiety index (original, huh?) measures this effect. Foods high on the index include apples, fish, eggs, oats, beef and popcorn so all of these would make good diet snacks.

My snacks are usually:
Apples dipped in a bit of peanut butter.
Asparagus spears wrapped in ham
Boiled eggs
Seafood sticks (only 20 cal per stick)
Handful popcorn
Cuppa porridge

Chickpeas roasted in the oven (for about 45 mins at 180) and flavoured with something like Paprika are good.

Plain popcorn.

Skyr yogurt or fat free Greek yogurt again you can flavour these with cinnamon or a little bit of honey.

Chocolate drink (Cadbury's options)

Plain Rich Tea biscuit with a cuppa

Fresh strawberries/blueberries
