Pineapple - help!

I'd like to try and introduce more pineapple into my diet. Maybe just a few chunks in the morning for breakfast or with my lunch (mainly weekdays only). I've looked into it and loads of different sources online say it is great for weight loss, particularly stomach fat. But I don't understand how it can be when it is LOADED with sugar?! I know it's not processed sugar but well, sugar is still sugar right? Can anybody please advise?🍍

The best way to lose weight is to eat a varied diet based around vegetables and lean protein with measured carbs and fat. Adding pineapple won’t make any difference at all.

But hopefully replacing pineapple instead of a packet of flame grilled steak crisps will 🙈
