Losing weight and breastfeeding

Hi all,
I am now 37wks pregnant with number 5 and basically haven't been to a SW weigh in since I found out about the baby. I lost 3.5 stone with SW and was strangely happy to find out at the MW checkup yesterday that I am still lighter than I was when I started SW!
But my pattern seems to be that I don't put on too much weight during pregnancy and fit back into jeans etc quite quickly, but then sitting on the settee for months snacking while baby feeds has teh obvious effect :(
Has anyone used SW while breastfeeding a newborn? Do you get extra syns?
Thank you

I haven't but lots of friends have and yes you get more syns.

You don't get more sins but you get 6 healthy extras. DS2 is 11 months and I've lost 5 stone since he was born with SW.

Thank you both :)
Nice to hear it is possible CaptainHolt, that is an amazing achievement!

Weighed in this morning, DH is highly amused that I have gained 40.5lbs since I last weighed in, but am still lighter than he is (weight gain is his most sympathetic quality!) but if we get back on the bandwagon together we can get it back down to more reasonable levels.

Oh sorry for my misinformation, my two friends who are doing it now definitely said they have extra syns for breastfeeding but maybe they were just simplifying their explanation for a lay person! Grin
