Scales Recommendations Please

I need to buy a new set of scales as the ones I have are not reliable. I have tried changing the battery but I get a different reading every time I step on them.

I normally have electronic scales as I like to see the numbers. I find the needle type difficult to read objectively.

Thanks

Are you using them on a very flat surface? Most digital scales can't be used on carpet and mine can vary by about a stone depending on which floor in the house I put them! Even tiled floors don't always work if they aren't perfectly level, it's very annoying.

I always use them in the bathroom on a tiled surface. I keep them in the same position and only move them to wash the floor. I have been looking at those scales that measure fat/water/muscle but not sure if I really want to know all that information.

I got some weight watchers ones for cheap from Argos like 4 years ago and they are still going strong

Seconding the Weight Watchers suggestion, bought a set a few months ago and they work great! They connect to an app on your phone too so really easy to keep track of weight and percentages.
