Just that really.

I'm trying the meal replacement shakes. Anyone actually lost weight with Slim Fast products??

Why don’t you just calorie count. Slim fast just works on the basis of low cal meal replacement.

You can only ever lose weight with a calorie deficit.

And yes I did try slim fast and was starving all the time as the majority is fluid lunches ect..

You could actuslly have a breast of chicken and a huge helping of broccoli for the same amount of cals and it would keep you fuller for longer

I tried it and lost 2 to 3lb per week on it and lost a stone and a half but I was STARVING and had headaches and dizziness from the sugar. And as soon as I tried to go back to normal it went back on twice as fast and I'm even fatter now Blush

I had two shakes a day and a main meal and a couple of snacks. The tubs of powder are minging and metallic but the ready made ones are nice but ~£9/£10 for a pack of 6

Not worth it, I'd look into something else like calorie counting and making your own shake with almond milk, protein powder and some veggies. Gotta be better than what's in SF and it cost me a fortune.

I don't particularly like food as such (except sweets). I hate cooking. The thought of eating chicken and vegetables sounds so boring and sad. I like that I can have a chocolatey flavour drink that acts as a meal and will help me lose my baby weight.

I know that's not particularly healthy but my current diet is pretty shit. I had a cupcake for breakfast but I do feel full after a shake and it sees me through till the next shake or dinner.

Good suggestion @YorkshireLurker about making my own. I have a Vitamix that is rarely used so could get that out and whip something up

mills it’s not boring if you put Nando’s sauce on it it spices garlic/chilli.

Shakes are never sustainable as it’s just fluid and your body will rip through it.

Get a calorie app and work out what you need to eat in cals to lose weight and work around thst. If jam on toast is your thing - have it but deduct it off your cals. Have a packet of crisps but take it of your daily total. Once you have eaten your days worth of cals just stop eating Grin
