Actually think that orthodontic retainers could help with weight loss!

Ok so obviously slightly tongue in cheek! But anyway, my 15 year old daughter had her braces removed 3 weeks ago. She now has retainers which she has to wear all the time except when eating. It's very unpleasant and practically impossible to eat with them in. She has 3 meals a day plus a snack after school, usually toast and fruit so she takes them out, rinses them and puts them in a case 4 times a day. Other than that she can't be bothered, meaning that mindless picking at food is totally eliminated. No grabbing a biscuit, no taking a sweet or a few crisps from a bowl. She actually had half a stone or so to lose which is practically gone already! Think I'll get a set for myself Grin
