I’m 5.5 and weigh 9 stone 9.

Before I had my DD i was 8 stone 4.

She’s now 10 months old, feel like I’ll never lose my baby weight :(

How long do you think it would take?

Are you exercising? What is your diet?

ChaosAndPiss · 23/03/2018 10:41

If you cut off a leg then it won't take long at all.

Really need more details.

Ihatemyclients · 23/03/2018 10:46

With diet and exercise about 1-2lb weight loss per week is safe and reasonable but it might take longer depending on metabolism etc so please don't feel too hard on yourself about it.

Chaosandpiss- thanks for your reply, really great thanks! ... not.

I’ve been doing gym classes 3 times a week but struggling to eat lower then 1,500 calories a day.

What sort of gym classes? Can you outline a couple of typical day-to-day meals?

Are you measuring/weighing food portions to know you are definitely eating 1500 calories? I'd have thought your BMR would be around 1400 or so, so depending on how much you are moving, 1500 seems about right for steady and sustained weight loss.

Are you breastfeeding?

Use fitness pal app. It's amazing how many calories we consume unnoticed. Drink etc has lots of calories. It keeps me on top of my weight, if i log everything.

I do step and legs bums and tums.

Usually I have quite heavy dinners so DD and DH has them to, usually a beef stew, Bolognese, but also have chicken and rice/Cous cous quite a lot.

I also eat late ... about half 7/8 which doesn’t help?

@madmother1 totally agree re My Fitness Pal - it really taught me how many calories I was eating without thinking (like 120 calories in a single tablespoon of olive oil!)
