I'd rather be a bit flabby (jeans hide a multitude of sins) than go back to being fat (7.5 stones ago). I don't really have my body on display so maybe would feel different if I was younger and taking sun holidays and go swimming but mainly my skin is under wraps at all times.

You'll have much more confidence when you loose the weight than worrying about flab now.. don't let that thought get in the way of you doing great things :)

Everyone is different no two people are the same we all start a pregnancy at different level and gain differently. Your body might never be the same after childbirth but on the other hand you might either back to pre pregnancy weight with no loose skin.

I'm glad you brought this up as I was wondering about excess skin myself. Most of my weight is on my belly and I have no doubt I'll be left with some there. So much so that I've been looking into pressure garments! I just think I'd rather be slimmer and a bit flabby. I am also not as young as I used to be so won't be walking round in bikinis or short shorts. I do look forward to having more choice in clothes though, so it's a bit swings and roundabouts. I suppose you have to decide what's more important for you. Good luck with your decision. Smile

I want to at least be a healthy bmi, only 5lbs off of that. Think excess skin might be an issue as lost 7lbs but looking very flabby. I’ll have to embrace the “mum tum”.
I’m only 20 so was hoping I’d spring back but doesn’t look that way Grin
