I've just been on the keto diet page and it says you can substitute almond flour with coconut flour in recipes (I'm allergic to Almonds but not coconut) but I just want to check my understanding of quantities. It says '1 cup of almond flour can be substituted for ⅓ cup of coconut flour. ' Does this mean that if a recipe calls for 3 cups of almond flour I only use 1 cup of coconut flour? And if a recipe calls for 2 cups of almond flour I use 2/3 of coconut flour? I'm weak with hunger and my brain isn't functioning properly!
