I have 6 stone to lose BlushSad
How long has it taken any of you to lose and how did you do it apart from chopping of a limb which is looking appealing at the moment!!

Take it one stone at a time OP, it's far less daunting that way.

It took me a year to lose 4 stone, but the first 3 stone came off very quickly - i can't quite remember now, but in 4 months I think. The last stone is the stubborn one.

Good luck Flowers

I've lost 66lbs (so just under 5 stone, I think) in 14 months. Now working on the last stone. It took me four months to lose the first half stone with SW, started Low carbing in May, lost the rest steadily since then.

I'm in the same position Sad or at least was last month.

The stupid thing is I actually don't eat that badly.... but I do binge eat and I want to snack all evening long. I've put well over 2 stone on in the last year since my son was born mostly comfort eating. It has to stop.

I'm doing slimfast at the moment, not the best diet out there and not really sustainable but I would suck at anything with meetings as Im pretty antisocial and it seemed like a good way to kickstart myself into a diet. I've lost 12lbs and then fell off the wagon spectacularly for about 10 days, but I didn't gain anything back so I have confirmed that my actual diet is ok ish but that the whole tubes of Pringles etc need to stay off the menu!!!

Good luck, if only it was as easy to lose as it was to put on!

Take it a stone at a time OP. I started on 5th Jan last year and have lost just over 6st (down to 10st 9lb).

You can do it, you just need to start and keep going when it’s hard.

Thanks all
I'm going to go with the suggestions to take it a stone at a time, otherwise it seems so overwhelming and unachievable

I started on Monday so let's see how I get on!
