I think I need a sergeant major type to shout at me to pull myself together and stop making excuses. No, it’s not ok that you ate those crisps. No, it’s got nothing to do with it being cold or being tired or whatever.
Just get on with it!

Anyone want to volunteer to crack the whip?

Ha! That is exactly what I need too! How about we do it for each other??

So, what did you eat yesterday? Be honest!!

LiveLifeWithPassion · 27/02/2018 13:03

Great!
I won’t go into yesterday. Ahem.
Let’s start today.
I’ve had 2 pieces of marmite on toast and a homemade chicken and veg pastry.
That’s rubbish isn’t, it?
I shall focus on fruit and veg for the rest of the day.

What about you?

I need help too!

I got on the scales this morning and I'm half a stone heavier than I thought I was - where the hell did that come from?!

I could probs do with losing at least a stone.

I've had 2 weetabix, a banana, a chewy sweet thing from DDs treat box, a tin of tomato soup and 2 pieces of whole meal bread.
Find it hard not to snack whilst working and finding it hard to get my arse in gear with the meal planning / shopping.

iloveruby · 27/02/2018 15:39

OK - so for breakfast i had the go-ahead crispy slice things (155cal)

Lunch I had soup with roll (400cal)

Snack - 2 more lots of the go ahead (snacking is a weakness!)

I've had 3 coffees and 2 fruit teas.

The snow has put pay to my exercise plans too!

LiveLifeWithPassion · 28/02/2018 10:46

What about an exercise dvd? If you want to exercise then do it.

I normally run (outside).
Good point though - although I don't have, nor have I ever had an exercise DVD.
Any recommendations?

LiveLifeWithPassion · 28/02/2018 11:17

I’ve got 30 day shred and a few of Davinas. They’re all good and less than 30 mins so no excuse really Blush
Better get off my lazy butt....

Well, as you said to me... if you want to do exercise then just do it ;)

@LiveLifeWithPassion
@iloveruby

How are you getting on?
I've decided to do good old calorie counting (quite easy on the Fitbit app).

Made me realise that on days where I sit at the desk all day, I have been eating more than I burn off Blush

lizzyfrombedlam · 11/03/2018 08:36

Can I join? I have about 2 stone to lose and just don't appear to find the motivation. Sugary drinks, alcoholic drinks and meat are my enemies - I have far too much of each of them.

So no gin for me tonight. I'm on my second sugary drink for the day (I know!), but do tend to drink water otherwise.

I've done 35min cardio this morning. Will try to build some muscle-building exercises in later.

And a smaller portion for dinner.

LiveLifeWithPassion · 11/03/2018 12:07

Nevermet I’m doing ok actully. Thanks for asking.
I’ve been doing a 30 min dvd 3 times a week, lots of walks and skipping breakfast. It’s made me eat healthier and my jeans are feeling a tad looser.

Calorie counting works so well when you pay attention to it.

BIWI on the Boot Camp threads (in the Low Carb BootCamp topic) will wield the Big Stick with a little too much Wink alacrity if you fail to follow the Rules Grin - especially if you then complain about lack of results! Shock
