I weighed myself one morning this week. I then weighed myself this afternoon and the scales show a 4kg gain?! How the fuck is this even possible?

Sure I went out drinking Friday night and ate maybe half a pizza yesterday but 4 fucking kilos!

I just want to cry, please tell me this can’t be real weight?Sad

This is why you're supposed to weigh yourself at the same time, and once a week.

This happens to me too... Could be pmt fluid, you need a big bowel movement, scales in different place etc etc... I try not to get on scales now

Don't focus on short term differences. Weigh as often as you like but focus on the overall trend.

Personally I like to weigh daily so that I can see the fluctuations as if I weigh weekly I don't know if its a blip that day.

Time of the month or eating certain foods can cause you to retain water.

For comparison purposes I find that it is best to weigh first thing in the morning after going to the loo but before eating or drinking (naked).

Yeah, it's possible, but it's prob just water retention.

It's one of the reasons I don't weigh myself. I just go by my clothes, blips throw you too much and can impact your behaviour.

Have you been eating low carb? If you then have a bit of a binge, not only do you restock your muscles with glycogen, but this needs water to happen. So it's a double whammy of weight gain.
