Hi

I have been putting on weight for ages and after starting again so many times I've pretty much lost the belief that I can do it. I'm trying to motivate myself today and was wondering if anyone else is looking to start again tomorrow? I'm hoping it might give me a kick! If you are about to start again it would be great to know -

Me. I feel just like you. I am 5 foot 3 and 13.10 which is unbelievable. I have never been this fat. I have lost weight before on low carb and on calorie counting. I started with MFP today and already have eaten nearly all my calorie allowance. I am going for a walk this afternoon to increase my allowance. It's the thought of how long it will take and how depressing it is. Once I get into it it's okay, it's the first few weeks that are the worst. Perhaps we can all encourage each other.

Can I join, started in Jan. Lost 6lbs then got stressed, developed love off malteasers, all weight back on and then some. No clothes fit me anymore.

Me please, none of my clothes fit either :( Have PCOS which is no excuse but feel like I can hardly eat anything without gaining.

5’9, 12st 7 want to be 11stone. Trying to do it by reducing meals while I’m busy during the day so I can have my normal tea. Using Mfp. I know I should do low carb really but i really don’t like much low carb food so I’d just give in.

It’s the worst part of the day for me - 5pm and I’m so desperate to snack. Just need to get through this to eat to eat my tea. So far have had an apple for breakfast, shreddies and fruit for lunch and some skinny popcorn as a snack. Can’t wait for tea time!!

Hello Ladies, how are you all doing?

Yesterdays food

Breakfast - porridge with rasperries
Lunch - salad, cous cous and humus
Dinner - salmon, roast veg and poatoes
Snacks - muller light yogurt and a pear

I treat myself to one bottle wine a week, opened it Friday and had the last glass last night.

My weigh in day is Thursday

I had a bagel with peanut butter, oatcakes with cheese and snacked on fruit. I did have one 111 calorie cookie but went out a walk to redeem myself.Blush

I have my postnatal check up tomorrow and I'm dreading being weighed.Sad

Weigh day will be Sunday!

I had a bad day yesterday - after planning to be good. I found a box of chocolate truffles left over from Christmas - they are not left over anymore!!!!

Better today and feeling positive for tomorrow

weigh in today and a Kg off, very pleased.
Thats 4.5kg in four weeks.

I am semi following Slimming World, and it's really cut down my cravings for sweet stuff. I eat Muller Light Yogurts and Fruit instead, and limit real deserts to one or two at weekends and watch portion control.

How are the rest of you doing this week?

Every week I find it relatively easy to be low cal on Mon, Tues. Start to slide on Weds. and give up from Thurs onwards!

Current mistake is/was bringing loads of Easter choc into the house, it's mainly piggy me eating it.

I struggled this week on Thursday (onwards) too - going to go to the slimming world group tonight, and hopefully the shame of going and putting on week on week will stop me stuffing my greedy mouth :(

I ended up having a Macdonalds, a Pizza Hut, takeaway chicken and a chinese this week..... fml

I’ve lost 15lbs since January 1 doing LCHF. I’m not particularly enjoying my food, but seeing the scale move is helping.

Lacking self motivation this week, it's cold , and I just reach for.. Everything. Massive over eating.

I found a heap of old pictures of me, prior to kids where I looked awesome in a bikini - so I have stuck those on the fridge/crisps box next to a picture of a current picture of myself... it's working so far on making me make the right choices! Maybe you could put something motivational right where you HAVE to pass it to get something to eat?
