Hello,

I started WW online yesterday, not doing very well, tracking points has made me realise just how many times a day the fridge door gets opened 'for a little snack'!

Anyone else dieting on WW? Just looking for a little support. Thanks.

Hello

I did WW about 4 years ago and lost 2 stone.

It is good that you are writing everything down - it really makes you think before you eat. I used to like exercising to gain more points - nothing excessive - just long walks and a bit of swimming.

It felt really good to keep losing each week.

I wish you luck and hope you enjoy the high of losing lbs!

Thank you. Do you think it's worth investing in one of those pedometer gadgets that they sell? Have seen a few different brands on ebay too.

HI ChaCha
I started doing ww 3 weeks ago and have lost 9lb so far but I have been exercising lots too.
I go to meetings as I felt I needed to go and get weighed but was given a free 30 day trial for esource which I think is quite good so may subscribe to that along side the meetings

ChaCha · 01/05/2007 23:27

Hi Christie,

Yes, good idea! My grocery shop arrives tomorrow and i added plenty of quorn mince as i love it and found lots of recipes on their site last night, the veggie chilli looks good as do a few others.
Post when you get started if you can, will be good to share the experience. Here's to losing some pounds!

X posts. Hi Whoops - wow, that's encouraging. My exercise is mainly lots of walking hence why i am thinking of one of those pedometers to see how much i'm actually doing. I have two little boys, 17 months and 10 weeks so i keep fairly busy and love walking a lot. Still, have a lot to lose..... am hopeful!

I lost 3lb last week I walked 10 miles in 3 days don't forget your youngest is still little & you are recovering yourself so take things easy! I haven't bothered with a pedometer but have got a calculator

MissTFied · 01/05/2007 23:33

I used to have a pedometer, just a cheap one from Millets.
It became addictive! I would want to out-do the no. of steps each day. I'd recommend one. Anything to make losing weight fun!

ChaCha · 01/05/2007 23:35

Thanks, i've been out and about with the two of them 3 days post my c-section, i really wish sometimes that i'd listened to advice and taken it a bit more easy I think two pregnancies one after the other has left me feeling really frumpy, am determined to lose some weight and am sure the walking has made an impact on my legs. The walking and taking them out really breaks the day up for me. Well done on your weight loss, what a motivator!

I think I'll be in your position towards the end of the year Chacha. I'm currently pg with my second child in 2 years. Here I am giving advice and motivation yet I'm eating too much chocolate.

I WILL LOSE WEIGHT AFTER NO.2 AND LOOK GREAT! NO MORE DINNER LADY ARMS!
