Anyone else obsessed with other women’s bodies/diet/exercise regime?

Not sure where best to post.

I know this isn’t “normal”. I know that. I would just like to know if anyone else similar.

On holiday atm. And I spend so much time looking at other women’s bodies (behind my sunglasses!) and comparing with my own. I’m size 8, I have a decent body, but not perfect. I exercise 4x a week and clean eating but I pursue perfection even though it’s ridiculous. Around the pool, I look at their tummies and try to establish if flatter than mine or if bottoms more pert or how bad their cellulite is. I’m not judging, I’m just obsessed with how compares with mine.

At meal times I’m so distracted because all I’m doing is checking out what other women are putting on their plates and whether it’s healthier than what I’m eating.

Re Exercise - i am very focussed on what friends do. If I think they do more than me, I get anxious and do a home vid on top of Gym for example.

Celebs (even though I know in many cases it will be simply an “image” rather than the whole truth) I will google diet, exercise, weight,

Basically I know it’s a problem. I know it’s odd. That’s a given. However my question is whether anyone else thinks they have an unhealthy interest in others bodies, diet and exercise regime. It’s anpedoccupation and I need to address it but anyone else have the same or similar issue?

No. I don't have this issue. It sounds like you are competitive and your motivation comes from competing with other women.

For me, I compete against myself. Of course it's natural to look at other men or women, but yes not in the way you do it.

I can relate to this. It's soul destroying and of no benefit to me. However , through counselling it's got better once I discovered that I was trying to make my self feel ok by finding others "worse". Now I focus on me and appreciating the good. Our culture doesn't help, let go of it and be freeee!

Were you very in to fitness and diet?
I don’t care about others people’s wealth / holiday / homes. For me like OP it’s all about what other woman eat and their exercise
