Be honest - whats chilli like made with bovril and quorn mince?

i don't like quorn mince so for me i think the texture is disgusting! not sure about the bovril though, whats that all about?!

Dh has been eating Quorn chilli for a year now and has no idea. He tucks into it and says "I don't know what you've done to this but it's lovely". Personally I find it OK, but not like one made with real mince.

i make mine with quorn mince, but no bovril - bovril might make it more "meaty" so not for me!
soya mince is nicer imho

It's better with quorn to not bother to pretend it's really meat and add veggie oxo IME. Add lots of tomatos and it's quite nice.

But it does make you fart !

I'm not a Quorn fan and I'm vegetarian. TBH I'd much rather the chilli was made from veg and lentils than quorn.

Soya mince is a bit nicer in texture but you need to flavour it carefully.
