Does dieting make anyone else feel really grumpy?

Dh needs to lose about 4 stone. I would be happy if I lost half a stone or a stone. We went to Asda to stock up on healthy food. Out go the pizza, in with the tuna pasta, out with the cheese sandwiches for lunch and in with the fish salads and the worst.... out with the wine and in with the gin and slimline tonic
Dh is doing really well motivation wise but as I wandered past the chocolate/crisps aisles I felt so grumpy.... like what's the point if I don't have nice things to reward myself with when life pretty much sucks as it is (I know, such an unhealthy attitude!!)

Do slimming world you can still have nice things whilst your following the diet you just count them in your syns. You have 105 syns a week to play with and a ton of free food for meals. a bottle of white wine is 24 syns for example, a pack of standard crisps is 7.5 syns. As long as you don't go over you'll still lose weight!

If you can exercise too that will make you feel happy too!
I have been doing weightwatchers and so can still have some of the 'bad' stuff if I allow for it but watch what I have ie a crunchie isn't too bad nor is the french fries crisps.
