Hi All,
I thought we could all share some good recipes that are under 600 cal. I've started on Slim Fast today (desperate times call for desperate measures!) and need some inspo for dinner.
I currently have this in the slow cooker:

Show me what you got =)

Have a look at the Hairy Dieters cook book.
There are some brilliant low calorie recipes, including some fakeaway curries and sweet and sour chicken. Also a great chicken traybake

Um, yes sarajones but vegetable on their own do not a meal make, unless in a soup or some sort of vege stew/casserole. Thanks for the input tho.

If I have enough time when I get home tonight I think I'm going to make us some hot sandwiches on Cloud Bread: www.beachbodyondemand.com/blog/cloud-bread-recipe
Not sure what I want to put on them yet though! I'm thinking Chicken.

I love this:

And this

Served with cauliflower rice or a corn tortilla wrap. I need food with flavour or I start munching on crisps quite quickly.

Wouldn't almost any meal you'd have at home be under 600 cals?
awankstainonhumanity · 31/01/2018 08:36
I hate Jamie Oliver, but his 5 ingredient cook book is actually great - most of the meals are under 600 cals and they are mostly really quick too. And tasty.

A lot of recipes may suggest that a meal is under 600 calories but that's when you follow their serving size suggestions. For example chicken and ham lasagna they list as 464 calories a portion, but they're suggesting it serves 6-8 people. So is the calories for the higher or lower number? That's six chicken breasts; but what size? For adults I'd imagine most people wouldn't stretch 6 regular size chicken breasts to feed 8...
