Insatiable appetite, exhaustion

I know I have PMT and AF is due at the beginning of next month. I am doing the Isagenix diet (shakes, low calorie, intermittent fasting) and over the past 3 days I am just SO hungry. I crave junk food so eat a small handful of something bad every now and then. I fasted yesterday and felt nauseous on and off all day and SO hungry despite eating the Isagenix snacks (amino acids designed to fill you). I got up this morning, got kids off to school and went back to bed which NEVER happens. What the hell is happening and what can I do??

What the heck is happening is that you’re on a totally daft diet.

Moderate portion sizes.
No crisps chocolate or junk food generally
No snacking
3 meals

Lots of veg, chicken, salmon.
You won’t be hungry. You will lose weight.

Incorporate some exercise

I have to agree.

The best way to lose weight and keep it off and to reduce the horrid effects of changing your eating is to do it gradually and to focus on reducing snacking and replacing high fat / high carb / processed foods with better (not necessarily low fat) alternatives.

Try having scrambled egg for breakfast, soup or a salad or a baked potato for lunch and a dinner of lean meat or fish and veg. You can snack on veg / fruit. Drink plenty of water.

The weight loss may be more gradual but you won't feel so horrific in the process!

For fucks sake, eat some proper food.

I paid lots of money for the system so I can't quit now! I weighed in yesterday and have lost 5lbs (I need to lose a stone). I've been fine since starting the system, it's just been this week (and I know I ovulated so have PMT) that I am starving. Screwed it all up yesterday evening by eating roast potatoes (AFTER dinner) 🙄
