Tip for desserts/summer/hot flush-sufferers:

  1. frozen grapes (has sugar but still better than traditional ice lollies or ice cream)
  2. Whey-Hey - fairly new discovery of mine. Sugar free and high protein. Individual portion tubs of vanilla or chocolate favour, pack of 4. Bit pricey but taste fine.

Oppo ice cream is also low calorie, low carb and delicious. Waitrose stock it.

Second Oppo, doesn't even taste like diet stuff and it's like 450 calories for the whole tub!

Or Yoo Moo frozen yoghurt or Asda do an own brand frozen yoghurt as well that's about 80 calories per 100ml.

Freeze peeled and chopped up banana and then whizz in the blender. The texture in exactly like ice cream.

Oppo ice cream is now sold at Holland and Barrett apparently (not been myself yet) but lots in WW group have bought it.

raspberrycordial you can also add frozen mango to the bananas - equally yummy and very like ice cream.

The other thing I do is whizz frozen raspberries, melon and a little orange juice till slushy then freeze to make a kind of sorbet. Maybe a bit sweet to be a proper diet food but a delicious treat
