2.5 stone to lose - which diet / program to do?

I'm 30 years old, had my first baby and put on 5 stone.

I was 10 stone before getting pregnant and now 6 months after giving birth still have 2.5 stone to lose to get to 10 stone.

I've looked into Slimming World, Cambridge Diet and Weight Watcheds and cant decide which one to try.

I'm generally an active person and have a healthy mindset when it comes to food. By that I mean I'm not a binge eater, I don't eat sugary foods or add sugar to my diet, I don't drink heavily, and get my 5 a day.

I have a history of thyroid issues. Sometimes it's hyper and I can't keep weight on and sometimes I'm hypo and I gain without eating.

My levels have just been checked and I'm currently stable with my thyroid.

Rather than "a diet", start to track what you do eat
MyFitnessPal is free and lets you work out how many calories you are actually eating.

Once you know your intake, work out your TDEE (as it is currently, sedentary)
and then your TDEE at your "happy weight"

try to get your weekly intake below the weekly ideal TDEE and you will get there
and stay there
for ever

I happen to be a fan of 5:2 - its free after all
