Yay 3lb for me. I've given up bread this week and my stomach is looking so much flatter. Down to 11st 6lb.

Good luck everyone.

rislip · 17/04/2007 11:11

Well done MiaWallace. Congratulations you.

HeavyBee · 17/04/2007 11:25

Thank you Furball for keeping us organised, much appreciated as ever. Well done MiaWallace, 3 lb is great! Perhaps I should try cutting out bread too.

Good heavens, Tuesday again. Not logged in to confess for the last few weeks as I had a computer but no monitor at home (upside of that was that I didn't have to sew to a continual background of either ScoobyDoo or Charlie and Lola) and then we went away for most of the holiday. Walked up a lot of hills but failed to lose any weight as not cycling, in fact put on a pound or so and am now at 9 st 6 lb again. Sigh. I'm a very wodgy size 12 which would be fine except that I was a 10 for 20 years and I looked and felt better that way. As I can't get used to it I've got to shift it.

tortoise · 17/04/2007 12:59

Well done Miawallace.

I am down to 12lb 8 this week. So that 5lbs off isn't it?

And thanks furball for sending out the chart each week.

rislip · 17/04/2007 14:34

Oh wow well done Tortoise, that is fantastic, everyone is doing so well this week. I'm not going to do so well, too many weekend bbqs.

jambuttie · 17/04/2007 16:06

[whispers] 3 lb on for me this week

12 stone 3

ZisforZebra · 17/04/2007 20:10

Thanks for the thread furball.

12st 7lb for me, a pound off. Wanted to be down to 12st 4lbs by my birthday which is next wednesday. I can't see that happening somehow.

Fantastic loss Tortoise!! Well done! Well done MiaWallace too!

pesme · 18/04/2007 09:17

well done miawallace and tortoise!

i am 10 3 this week am worried that i am about to start sliding down the slippery slope again.

HeavyBee · 18/04/2007 10:16

Jambuttie and Pesme, don't worry, this is just a breather, as it were, on your way down. I find it's very difficult to stop eating chocolate after a binge, but after a week or so really struggling it gets much easier, quite suddenly. In the end I gave up eating chocolate bars and Easter eggs altogether because the effects were too awful, but my real downfall is cake anyway.

Tortoise, that's fantastic, I'm so impressed.

Smalline · 18/04/2007 11:40

Phew, I stayed the same this week, however, saying that, my clothes are definitely feeling tighter due to lack of exercise.

Now that I'm back at work I am getting back into the routine, (am currently rushing around getting the kids to school and myself to work, and exercise classes during my lunchbreak) however I am leaving work in 4 weeks, when I will become a SAHM for a while. I'll have to find other ways of exercising, I would appreciate some tips.

Good luck everyone for next week.

rislip · 18/04/2007 14:00

Stayed the same this week. Unhappy about that but better than a gain and I did binge eat bbq style on the weekend. 12st 7lbs.
Thanks Furball

Furball · 19/04/2007 09:52

haven't forgotten you this week but my desktop where all the info is is playing up, dh has fiddled about with the network will try and get him to fix it tonight for me to send.

HeavyBee · 19/04/2007 10:23

Smalline how nice to be a SAHM for a bit! I don't know if it would work, because I don't have a TV so I haven't tried it, but if you currently do exercise classes at lunchtime, could you do an exercise DVD at lunchtime at home the same days as you exercise now, so as to keep the momentum going? And make sure there are no unhealthy snacks anywhere to hand? For me that would be NO CAKE but you'll have your own weaknesses....
