I've lost 8lb in 4 weeks using WW Online. Using the online food diary and not cheating is REALLY making me think twice about what I eat.
I'd recommend it Twiglett. I got a free fortnight's demo which gave me lots of time to investigate - you can cancel the dd mandate that starts after that fortnight quite easily apparently.

I'd really like to have a go at this but since I don't live in the UK could someone tell me if the food they suggest is generic or specific to WW/asda/tesco etc.

albert, it's both, but most of the processed food (recipe dishes etc) are UK brand names.
You can add your own food (items or recipes) if you have the calorie content and saturated fat percentage to hand. This appears on all UK-manufactured food. Then you can save the item you've added in your Favourites and it is always there for future use.
