Hiya Everyone. Ive been dismall at walking this week and come in last. Excuses are work and illness, but i have ordered one of madambutterflys steppers so i can catch up on my work days.

Well Done to MadameButterfly on completeing her walk for life and those steps will be on next week no doubt, so we will all have to do extra this week to catch up with her.

I did email you CP3!
Maybe it didn't find it's way to you. Anyway, my total is 51,667. Still not up to the magic 70,000 but about 10% better than the week before which I think is pretty good. I did walk to M&Ts on tuesday and I'm really chuffed about that. Unfortunately, this week we have to go to the dentist first which is another 3 miles or so further on so I think I may have a low total again this week
Legoland tomorrow though which may help

No - it's an official big day out with all the family. We're at the other end of the M3

Earlybird · 18/07/2004 21:51

My total this week is 46,852 so I've got a long way to go to compete with Ponygirl's first place position. But, I'll keep working at it!

CP3 - what is the email address we should send totals to? Thanks, and good luck to everyone for next week!

Tommy · 18/07/2004 21:52

It's further down!

OK - this is not an excuse - I promise! Did Legoland yesterday and looked at the ped in the car on way home - 3,000 Surely, surely I would have done more than that during the day?! We were there for 9 hours FGS. I walked all the way round it and then some. I think I may have had a problem and will have to do a bit of calculating to get the right amount...

MadameButterfly · 20/07/2004 17:55

I am on target to do the 70,000 this week.

I had a slow start on saturday with just over 5,000, but have made up for it with 12,000+ on Sunday and today and just over 10,000 yesterday.

CP3 · 20/07/2004 18:22

Madam Butterfly i ordered my stepper, wrong one was delivered it was a huge stepper but i was honest and returned it. Dont think ill hit the target this week again as so much bloody work on and then i dont have the enthusiam to go for my usual walk, But i will be back with a vengenance soon

Hi guys i'm new to this game, but i bought a pedometer on friday and i've noticed that if i do not leave the house i do about 3000 but on monday i took the kids to school then went shopping plus other stuff and clocked up just under 13000 i was impressed plus i really enjoyed it, you guy are keeping me inspired, thank you .

Tommy · 21/07/2004 12:18

Welcome MaryKay! I'm like you - do about 3,000 if I don't go out - that's why the Legoland thing is so frustrating - It can't have been working properly . I'm going to "adjust" my total for this week because of it - you see I am being totally honest and telling you all!

spod75 · 21/07/2004 21:01

Can I join in please?

I've only had mine (from ww) a few weeks and have only ever got up to 8000ish in one day. But this might get me going a bit more. When do the weekly totals count from?

MadameButterfly · 21/07/2004 22:37

Welcome spod.

we email our results to [email protected] on a friday night or saturday morning.

Just send her your total for the week (saturday to friday) and she will post results when she has all the results in.

wobblyknicks · 22/07/2004 10:57

By the way, this is the thread about the free pedometers, but you can't collect them until tomorrow or after so I'm still waiting to be able to go in and get mine and then I can actually join you lot!!!

wobblyknicks · 22/07/2004 11:00

by the way - just been to the site to print off the voucher and they've stopped doing it, now they're selling them for 3.99 . Oh well, never mind!!!

wobblyknicks · 22/07/2004 11:01

but that 3.99 is to cover p&p so I spose they are still technically free!

MadameButterfly · 23/07/2004 09:12

I only managed just over 3000 yesterday.

It will be intereting to see what I do next wee as all DD's classes have now finished.
