I have been calorie counting and low carbing for 5 months and done really well, I am proud of myself. I am now 9 stone 11 and 25.1 BMI, def in the right direction.

However, I have been weighing myself each week on a machine that also allows one to do a fat compostion, my fat compostion is always somewhere between 15 and 18% and according to the charts this is too low. How do do I lose more weight to bring my BMI into the middle of the range without being too low on fat?

I am stumped on this one unless the machine is seriously inaccurate.

Are you athletic/muscular? If so, you are already at the right BMI - it doesn't distinguish between muscle and fat weight, but it'll be fairly obvious looking at you - 15- 18% fat looks 'lean', no 'rolls' or padding. If you don't, then your scales aren't accurately measuring composition.

I am quite lean on my arms and legs but very apple shaped, 31" waist. The machine is one in boots where you hold a handles to take the measurement. Perhaps they are a bit rubbish.
