Height weight and dress size..?

Just that really. I'm interested to know what your dress size is and your height and weight. I was talking to a girl at work yesterday and she was surprised at my weight because I'm a size 8 -10 (I'm 5 ft 5 and weigh 9 st 7) she's the same height, weighs 8 st 7 and is a size 12 so she guessed I would weigh less than her. I'd like to know what your height, weight and size is please? I know body shapes are all different but just thought this'd be interesting perhaps......?

5'8" 9st 12 and a size 8-10 (usually an 8) when I'm 9st 7lb I'm a size 8 .

I am 5ft 4 at 8st 10. I have lost a lot of weight. I am now a 10 on bottom and 8 on top. When I was 14st 9 I was a 20. 12 stone size 16 (took me forever to get to a 16) Completely skipped 14. 10st 5 size 12

5'9, 10 stone 8 and a size 12, occasionally a 10. When I get back down to goal of 10 stone it's more of 50/50 split between size 10 & 12, dependent on shop.

My mum is exactly the same height but carries weight differently, we weigh similar amounts but she has a broader frame and looks thinner than me. I have a short person frame stretched if that makes sense and narrow hips and shoulders so look fleshier!

5'2", 9st 3lb, 36", 30" 37", size 10 in most shops (12 in Top Shop, 8 in some of the worst vanity sizers). 20 years ago I was the same weight and a size 12 everywhere.

I'm 13stone 2 and 5'5". I wear a 14.

I'm losing weight at the moment so at my heaviest I was almost 14 stone and almost a 16.

5ft 3. 14st 2lbs. Size 16/18 bottoms, Size 14/16 on top.

At my heaviest I was 17st 11.5lbs and a size 20/22.

Can I ask what size waist are you at 5f7...?

I’m curious as a bigger shop size than many of you that weigh less than me, so possibly it’s my waist size

5'7'', 10st 2lbs. Size 8 or size 10 in places like Warehouse/Roxy which cater for a younger and firmer market :-)

5’4 9 stone 9lbs on my best day and I wear size 8-10 now

Used to be 5’4 weigh 13 stone 9lbs and wear size 16

5 foot 6 and a half, 9 stone 7, size 10 mostly but sometimes a 12 if very small fitting on my pear shaped bottom half!

My waist is 29 inches. 5 ft 8 and 12 and a half stone wear size 12,sometimes a 10 if vanity sizing

Really? At that weight and height you’re actually bordering overweight on the nhs chart.

A friend of mine lost a few stone a few years ago, taking her to 11 stone.
I couldn't believe that she was 11 stone, which put her at borderline overweight. SHe looked like she was too thin to me - gaunt, even unwell.

I can only guess that it was the change in her appearance that was what was shocking my brain, as well as the fact that several stone in weight loss can make the face appear gaunt. I'm sure she probably would have looked perfectly fine/healthy (maybe even overweight)! to a stranger.

@allergia I am also 5'3-5'4. I weigh 10st3 (still working on it) and am a small 12 / big 10. Hourglass shape (big boobs!).

At the start of the year I was 12st6 and at the top end of a 14.

Most of my clothes are from gap / h&m / boden.

5'6" and about 11 stone. I'm at the larger end of a size 12 - anything designed as tight, I'd need to go up a size.

Lowest weight was about 9 stone and I wore a size 10 then. (Size 8 in Next).

Am rectangular/apple shaped. I carry most of my weight on my stomach, and am fairly flat everywhere else.

I've lost almost 50lbs, I was a size 20 at 16st 7 last November and I'm tantalisingly close to having an "overweight" BMI, something I haven't seen since I was a teenager

I'm 5'11'' and 14 stone 5 lbs when I weighed in last week. I tend to keep track by lbs and that's 201 - the "healthy" BMI range for my height starts at 180lbs, which is 12 stone 12. I've lost about 40lbs since May so two thirds of the way from a starting BMI of 33 to that goal of 25!

I used to wear a 16-20 on top and 20 for trousers, I've now got some size 16 trousers and I'm in 14/16 tops mostly. That's M&S and supermarket brands.

When I see other people talking about being overweight at ten or eleven stone I'm completely baffled until I remember I'm pretty tall and they're probably about five foot nothing. If I weighed 10 stone I'd be 19.5 on the BMI chart; who knows maybe one day but I bet I weighed more than that at primary school!

Just weight will tell you nothing. Mum and I are the same height and just a few pounds between us. I'm a 10, she's a 16-18. Smae with my best friend, we're exactly the same size so can wear each others jeans - but she's 20 pounds lighter
