Has anyone got good weight loss tips or things that have worked for them??

Mine is really predictable...eat proper food, mainly veg and lean protein with measured carbs. Avoid junk as much as possible. Exercise.

Meal planning and having emergency healthy food in the freezer for when a take away craving strikes helps me.

As much as it pains me to say it, the main thing that works for me is giving up alcohol.

It's not just the empty calories from alcohol but alcohol makes me eat crisps, and second helpings and throws me completely out of the right mindset. It also makes me less likely to go to the gym/out for a run.

Also, replacing my numerous daily skinny lattes with black coffees with a splash of milk. I worked out i was drinking over 2,000 calories in milk each week! Stopping snacking too unless it's fruit.

Thank you for your advice, i don't drink alcohol as im on parkinson tablets for cerebral palsy but iv always gone with the term 'the sky's the limit' im a sucker for takeaways but recently iv found that i just tell myself not to!!! and have an apple if i want snacks and also when i cook food to get a small plate and not a big one. Im 13st the heaviest iv ever been i feel discusting!!! Xx

Slimming World do lots of "fakeaway" recipes. You can find their books on eBay so you don't need to go to a meeting. Although I'd totally recommend slimming world anyway.

Yeah iv had some of slimming worlds meals just to try out and their actually nice i didn't think they would be although im not to fond of the chicken korma!!!😂 iv read some insperational stories on slimming world!! Iv also cut out my cuppa tea in a morning with my milk and 2 sugers iv switched to green tea and that is also suprisingly nice!!! X Smile
