Revenge Body
4

Mermaizing · 21/09/2017 22:42

My partner of 2 years and I broke up around 2 weeks ago and I've handled it okay-ish. I'm deep down still hoping we can resolve our issues but during the relationship I let my self go gaining a stone and a half.

I ideally would like to lose 20lbs and get my revenge body as I think part of the reason he lost interest was my lack of motivation and respect for my body although he never commented on it.

Anyone want to join me in proving a point to their ex that we can look good and do it for ourselves and feel good and confident again?

But how do I do this also..? Grin

Many 'diets' work. Some are more effective than others. Some are also better for health than others. Few can be sustained unless you commit to a lifestyle change.

For example, slimfast is a diet in a box. High in sugar; low in calories. Not great for health. Arguably hard to sustain for a long period. But works for a while.

What are your motivations? Decide that. Then you can decide which method.

I lost 2 stone when I finished with exh, I didn't do it to prove a point to him though, I did it for me. He used to say 'no one else will want you as you have let yourself go' he called me 'fat' (I was a size 14).

I am now a size 10, I go to the gym most days, I swim, I am toned. Exh now has a new partner who is at least a size 22. I have more confidence, I get a lot of attention from the opposite sex and I feel so much better not living with an abusive twat,

No, lose it to get healthy and for yourself. Revenge body sounds like you are doing it for him.

I got ghosted a few months ago by someone I was seeing for 3 years.

Since then I've lost 19lbs and have totally transformed my life (am infinitely healthier and happier). I'm doing it all for me but goddamn do I want to bump into him at some point just so I can ignore him while looking super hot 😂.

Focus on yourself. Your own happiness and health ( both physical and mental) are what matters now.
