Hi there

Is there anyone currently on the Alevere diet or any seasoned Alevere dieters out there who could share some tips on what I can take to work for my lunch e.g. can you make up a meal the night before and microwave next day? Only started last Saturday so am new to all this. Got 3 stone to lose.

Many thanks
:D

Hey :) if you get any cool recipes let me know!
I'm finding the taste of the shakes no fun :(
Omelette is vile.
I did just have chocolate dessert with 7 raspberries (I'm not sure if you're supposed to have the dessert after a main meal or is it instead of a full meal)?

HI Linc94

The Mint Chocolate drink is really nice, as are the chocolate and hazelnut bars. As you're only allowed 3 bars a week i cut mine into quarter pieces and just have one or two pieces now and then when I feel the need for a sweet fix. I do like the omelette, smoked bacon and the cheese one but the spaghetti bolognese is disgusting I have to add loads of stuff to it to make it taste of anything. I did make onion bhajis out of the chicken goujon mix (which is also disgusting on its own) just added some onion, fresh coriander, curry powder and cumin. They came out really nice. You are supposed to only have one sachet every 3-4 hours so don't have a dessert one straight after your meal if that included a sachet also. I sometimes make the dessert sachets up with a bit more water and some bits of fruit from my allowance and blend into a smoothie, might make them taste a bit better for you.

I have just started week 4. Its hard but have lost a stone since my consultation on 7 September so have the motivation to carry on.

Good luck
:)

Hi, I am starting mine on the 20/10. I hate milkshakes so will be staying away from those! I don't know if I should continue now!

Abbiekitten · 16/10/2017 20:22

Angie there are other things such as desserts, soups, omelettes etc it’s just a matter of experimenting to start with.

If it’s any consolation I lost 10lbs in my first week, I really struggled with the food though.
Nothing tastes anything like it’s supposed to and it is hard but when you see the difference it’s so worth it!

I did it but only managed four weeks, just add whatever veg you can to each sachet and spices too. The omelette can be made and eaten cold with a salad. I enjoyed the pancake mix the most and used to add cinnamon etc. Again can be eaten cold with fruit. I lost a stone I the first month which Kickstarter me and I've continued just as successfully with slimming world.

So I have lost 3lbs on my first week but that was without being on the diet - I have started the actual sachets today so lets see how i do with these little things!!

Angielester1 · 01/11/2017 21:03

omg these sachets are actually awful!!!

I can do the drinks but thats it.

tried the pancakes but didnt like them, omelette, not my liking at all, smoky bacon omelette the same. i am going to be on stir fries and juice i think.

Hello, are any of you still on this? I started in Jan but not lost a lot and feeling demotivated

MaudlinMews · 29/01/2018 12:32

I’m a seasoned pro if anyone has any questions. I did it when it was Alizzone back in 2014 & in my opinion the food was much tastier then.
